The title track 'King Slayer' is heavily drenched in techno elements, constantly building and building until we get a well-deserved release from the tension and things go off. It's a departure from Mike's usual repertoire, and we like it.
B-side 'Ted Turner' is a chunky, beat-driven colossus that is unapologetically crass, loud, and drives straight to the point. A hypnotic pitchy vocal ties the whole thing together.
In short, this EP delivers two massively potent tracks that should sit right with any bass house enthusiast.
