House Of Hustle Release Radar February 2025
Share
February is upon us, time for the Valentine’s Day beats, a full circle moment with our friend from Chicago, XFDS, as we get back on his essential contribution to dance music, ‘Circulate’, plus two Data Transmission selected premieres and more.
In coming are the remixes of ‘Circulate’ with fellow house heads from Chicago, Jon Alfaro and Luxpro plus the return of Jboog following his acid house release to wrap up the vibe for January. Out this Friday with vocals that drop heavy and ring,“I’m a house head, I’m a raver, I’m a bass head, I’m a snob”, ‘Circulate’ breaks the barriers between dance floors.
Based out of his studio in Phoenix Jboog fills the room with a progressive bass line and more textures to sink into for his edit. Jon Alfaro softens the edges of the tech house release a bit with a layer of splashy disco and his signature, timeless touch that has earned him slots at the coveted My House Festival and alongside artists such as CID and Dada Life.
Luxpro showcases his sophisticated nuances of modular synthesis, producing sounds that will swirl you and resonates with the elegance he employs in his design world. For Luxpro, his bigger outings were sharing the stage with luminaries such as Tourist, Amtrac, Qrion, Frameworks and most recently Duskus.
February 21st brings, FeelGood who has been on our radar since the beginning. Given name, Leandro Farias, is from one of the main addresses of electronic music in the world Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina (BR) and is coming up on releases off Dirtybird, Box of Cats, LouLous Records and Bunny Tiger as well as recent support from Clonnee at Space Miami and Acraze during his set in LA.
Following his sets for Love Beats Brazil, DEEP STAGE and his collective’s events that run to sunrise under the Saga Concept, FeelGood delivers us a two-track EP, ‘Fire’, with one of Brazil’s top female DJs, Jane Krovitz. ‘Fire’ is creamy and gives the dance floor plenty of Brazilian influence to get loose with while ‘Stack’ grabs you with the hook and holds a beat that will take you to your happy place.
It is a pleasure to welcome Jane over to House of Hustle with the royal treatment. Last year Jane created a buzz during her sets for After Dellas, Park.Art Superclub, elrow, and Sixx House, among other slots. Early on Jane Krovitz landed a residency at Savanna Club and has since played at top venues like Natural Forest, Baroque Club, Field Club, and Aboriginal Club. Her debut single, ‘Complicate’ reached the masses dropping via Blacktone in partnership with FeelGood. For one more claim to fame, Jane ranked #33 in DJ Mag BR’s top 100 female DJs in Brazil and took her sound global in 2022 with a standout performance in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
On the 14th the first Hustletrax release of the month by Colombian DJ & Producer Ravek lands on the decks with, ‘My Mind’. Here we are with one of those tracks that take the night to the next level with psychedelic revved up to 130 BPMs. Prior to landing on our February 2025 radar, Ravek offered us a Bang for Free this time last year titled ‘Many Words’. Also while exploring the most acid and heavy G-house and tech house, Ravek has landed on labels such as Candy Flip, Barong Family, HEXAGON, Skink and House Views.
Introducing us to the Paris, France underground house music scene is Hardy’s and Felmann through their night-stealer, ‘Culture Vulture’ that Data Transmission already has dibs on the premiere prior to the official release on the 28th.
